Trustee-Masterdata

The Trustee-Masterdata role is necessary for registering producers or producer groups.

The Trustee-Masterdata confirms notification and registers producer or producer groups in the GLOBALG.A.P. database. The initial product registration is also completed by the Trustee-Masterdata. This employee can enter all products (incl. product quantities) of a producer or producer group. However, certification bodies responsible for the complete certification process accept the products. Product acceptance is the trigger of the registration fee collected by the Trustee.

Has the Trustee-Masterdata completed the registration online (two steps: notification and registration or via upload (one step: action 0), the producer or the producer group will be linked to the Trustee company and get the status Registered. This status is a precondition for product acceptance and certification by the Certification Body.

Another option is that producers or producer groups notify themselves via the database login page using the Notification button. (screenshot "Notification")

During this notification they have to enter the RF-Key of the Trustee, so the producer or the producer group has to contact first the Trustee (or Trustee-Certification Body) in order to receive the key. The producer or producer group will receive their own GGN, subsequently the Trustee has to confirm the notification by registering the GGN(s) in the GLOBALG.A.P. Database. (verify this!!! Tests show that no GGN is sent!!! 31.05.2012)
